Any idea what they mean by "contractual issues?"

LONDON -- MTV has been forced to cancel the hotly anticipated U.K. premiere of "The Osbournes," citing "contractual issues" that have yet to be resolved.

The show had been due to debut Sunday in the 10 p.m. slot on MTV in the United Kingdom but has been stalled indefinitely. Reps for the music network said the show will still air on MTV Europe but could not confirm a date or time.

"The Osbournes," a reality series about the domestic life of former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, had been widely trailed in the media and is understood to be the subject of a bidding war between British terrestrial broadcasters after garnering record ratings for MTV in the United States.

"Due to contractual issues yet to be resolved, \'The Osbournes\' will not be launching on MTV this weekend," the music net said in a statement.

"MTV can confirm that \'The Osbournes\' will still receive its U.K. television premiere on MTV shortly, and will be announcing a new, confirmed date soon. MTV would like to apologize for any inconvenience to our viewers, and to reassure you that \'The Osbournes\' is well worth the wait."

Its been on in Australia for a while now. I stopped watching it after the first ten minutes, was really boring...

And that Kelly chick is damn ugly.

Boring? HAHAHAHAHA thats nice to know racer, that show was the BIGGEST cable sucess in the US once it premeired. Its funny as hell watching Ozzy yell SHARON and ***** and moan. OMG,  and yeah his daughter=ugly. Hes got ****ed up kids.

One of the highest rated shows in cable history.  By the end of the season they were getting 100,000 dollars per commercial.  The companies who bought in early on the show bought commercials for the initial offering price of 10-15,000....  

That is just one way of showing how successful this show was.

Does Ozzy have Parkinson\'s disease?  I read this on the web about a year ago, but Ozzy hasn\'t gone public confirming it.  I notice a big change in his appearance, and the way his hands move etc.  Then again it could be all the dope and alcohol he\'s consumed since the days of Black Sabbath!

Terrible, terrible show. The only reason it was a success is because of the surge in reality TV shows, Ozzy fans and people obsessed looking at the life of famous people.

God, I wish they\'d just cancel the show.
