OK, so I\'m gonna open up to you guys. I\'m gonna "turn on my heart light". Here\'s my story...
A co-worker of mine has a shy 7-year-old son who is a complete Star Wars nut. Not just EI & EII, either. Being one myself, I understand the little guy. Whenever he comes to work with his mom, he comes to my office to show me his new toys, or pictures he drew, etc.
Well anyway, I gave the little nerd all of my star wars stuff. All my toys, books, memorabilia, lunchboxes, banks, posters, mugs...(about a 25" TV box full. ) I even gave him a TIE-fighter pilot helmet and a Darth Vader mask (nice ones too, not the crap you find at halloween...) Then- for the cherry on top, I threw in my Dreamcast with all my games. (maybe 25-30). The only thing I kept was the Han Solo holster set I made about 6 years ago. (sorry, but it\'s always fun to wear at parties, and it wouldn\'t fit him anyway...)
So he drew me a picture of tie fighters and wrote me a thank you card. I hung it on my office wall.
Then his mom told me that his grandma had died 2 days before, and that it was the only thing that got him through it.
I\'m gonna have to be extra evil this weekend to make up for all these good deeds.
*here kitty, kitty, kitty.....
