I\'d prolly get the FTO myself. There\'s just something insanely appealing in that car...

Now that I got my driver\'s licence I oughta start saving up for a car too..

My grandfather has a Jaguar Majestic (Or however you spell it), a Rolls Royce, a Ferrari, and a Cadillac Elante.  I don\'t remember telling everyone that I have a Ferrari.

Yawn...

The reason why I am not buying a junk car is because they cost too much money when the crappy thing breaks down. The idea is to spend alittle more money to get something decent that will last accouple of years.

WTF `????%"¤#%#"¤
12000$ for a car like that ? U know what u get for 12000$ in Norway ? Toyota Yaris. U know what a Chevrolet Suburban cost for us here in Norway ?? About 50000$. 12000$ is not much for a decent car IMO. And for a Nissan Skyline... Im sure I had to pay out about 70000$. Well... thats the main reason why so many Norwegians import BMW from Germany $$$$ :)

Agnino, those prices are about what we pay in the states as well.  I think when Racer is talking about a 12000 skyline (Or whatever) he is talking about just the tires and the steering wheel.  The rest of the car is extra.

I was talking $12000 US!

You guys gotta understand that imported cars in Australia are dirt cheap.

That Skyline pictured is priced at $21 000 AUS, which equals about $12 - 14 000 US, depending on the exchange rate.

Yes, cars are probably expensive in Norway. I mean, you do live in Norway you realise?

For example. In Australia, you can buy a 600 HP Skyline GTR 34, fully modded out for around $50 000 AUS second hand.

That equals like $30 000 US.

That "Toyota Soarer" is marketed as the Paseo in the United States, am I right?  What an awful car.  Stay away, stay away.  Oh yeah, and "Soarer" is a gay name too.

Oh yeah, you\'re right.  I always confuse the SCs and Paseos until I see the badge.

I worked 4 years in a grocery store to save up for this:

My dad and I fixed it up so nice it\'s better than new. It has 120k miles but I\'m sure it will last me at least 5 years.

Got it for 1600 bucks at a towing auction. :D
