You have forgotten that he isn\'t a natural closer.  Hes a starting pitcher forced into the Closer role.  Which I thought was a retarded move by the Braves.  They should\'ve traded Millwood and Jordan for Sheffield, kept Perez and possibly used him as their closer.

Does it matter if he is a natural closer?  All I\'m saying is don\'t list him as one of the best closers when he clearly isn\'t :p

Gary Sheffield?  Why?  He\'ll just whine some more about "rampant racism in baseball."  They\'re better off without the headaches that come as a package deal with Sheffield.

I completely disagree.  Sheffield is a great player.  I know I\'d take him.  If the Mets some how ended up with him, I\'d love that.  Yeah...

Sheffield is a good fit for the Braves.  He brings an edge to the team that wasn\'t there before.  Plus they are starting to hit better now as a team.  Andruw Jones woo!

The Reds swept the Marlins WHOO-HOO!!!:D

If they pulled a trade, I\'d like it to be for Cleveland\'s Bartolo Colon.  I\'d package C Jason Larue, OF Ruben Mateo, and P Elmer Dessens for him.

Yeah, two of those off days provided what has to be one of my better baseball memories.  Those off days just happened to be on back to back nights too... ;)

Bah...damn Yankees. Oh well...Game 7 made it all better. Ahh...Louis Gonzalez with a blooper over Derek Jeter. Game over, D-Backs win. And my best friend was at that game too :rpissed:
