The war on warez
« on: May 29, 2002, 02:57:10 PM »
Do you know about it? Basically, warez ****s over America royally. Theres a group of people who are making Warez harder and harder to get. First they made a website that advertised sooo much crap it became number one. While no warez WAS on this, they had popup after popup after popup after popup put in to give warez sites a bad name, they did this with a BUNCH of sites.
Now they are on IRC downloading viri into peoples systems that are serving, freezing, and crashing machines.
With the money they made from the popups, they went out and BOUGHT a bunch of copys of the most pirited software.

Did you know you\'re not supposed to discuss warez on this forum?  Read the faq.  By the way... a disinformation program against warez??? Ridiculous.  Your post makes no sense.

So it\'s bad to pirate software, but it\'s ok to put viruses into other people\'s PCs?  I can\'t say I agree with that.

There is no such thing as something for nothing.
\"In the last 12 months 100,000 private sector jobs have been lost and yet you\'ve created 30,000 public sector jobs. Prime Minister, you cannot carry on forever squeezing the productive bit of the economy in order to fund an unprecidented engorgement of the unproductive bit. You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt.\" - Daniel Hannan
