What the...?  Alright, you gave me a couple paragraphs explaining why you think PCs are necessary and why they\'re home to a lot of great games, but you never told me why it\'s a bad thing that Morrowind is being brought to the Xbox.  Is it because Xbox already has a few PC titles in its library?  Big deal... I gave you my opinion on that situation in my previous post.

As for Xbox being a wanna be PC gaming console, well I saw this new thing they are selling. It\'s like an imitation keyboard and mouse for Halo Online so that you play it like you play PC FPS games. Seriously, come on thats just hysterical. Why dont they just design a computer made just for PC gaming. Oh wait they did smth of the sort— it\'s called CrapBox.

C\'mon, you and I both know that the vast majority of gamers enjoy PC controls in their FPS games.  Microsoft (or whoever is designing the mouse/keyboard device) understands that, so they\'re doing something to allow for that sort of control on the Xbox.  Personally, I\'m glad someone is taking gamers\' interests into consideration like that.   Why are you so against it?  And why don\'t you label the PS2 and Dreamcast as "wanna be PCs," because both of them have keyboard and mouse support.

And... "CrapBox"?  :rolleyes:

Well, if the xbox port is crap (judging on some impressions in the console debate forum) I could only imagine how they would butcher the PS2 version..

Dude you are not understanding.  I am not saying its bad but very pointless and unnecessary.  Why try to imitate smth and make it cost more money when you have the original.  Apparently some ppl do not have worries about money and buying imitations both good and bad.  But in general, it\'s pointless.  If you have problems with playing PC games on PC, then buy an Xbox, but IMO and I think most other ppl\'s as well, that would make you seem like an idiot who is wasting money.  Overall, PC version of the game are always better (except fighting games of course).  Plus the keyboard gives you more flexibility and controls.  And if you are buying that MS keyboard, it is just silly.  It really means you shoud be playing your PC.

Good Comp= $2000
Xbox= $200

For a hard working paycheck to paycheck person, $200 is easier to achieve than $2000.

X-Box = utter crap (lack of power*)
PC = a wonderful gaming experience

*This includes all game consoles not just poor little ole XB...

not to mention there are other things you can do on your PC that are not possible on X-Box. :rolleyes:

then again, if that\'s all you do, you could always pick up a celeron computer for less than $500

Billy gunn, i dun think u understand how hard money is to get.especially whenureither in high school/college.i cant afford to get a new computer every 2-3 years, since u say if its outdated by that long ur still in the ok range.i can hardly afford to shell out 300 for my ps2.You gotta remember us cheap youth of the world who cant really afford all the high tech cap that comes out all the time.i man, my computers from 1996 cause i cant get enough money to buy a new one.But i guess it\'s a matter of opinion whether you wanna play a multi platform game on ur pc or console.personally i like consoles cause im not to flexible with the keyboard an the limited buttons on controles really hels, except for quake...

Dude, I\'m still in highschool.

BTW, welcome to the forums.  I got a suggestion for you though, if you get a decent job, paying monthly for a computer might be the right thing for you.  But I could pay it outright cause I had money in savings.  So, patience is really all it took.

So, maybe you are employed, maybe your paying off a car, I know what that\'s like.  But put a little off to the side for yourself every once and a while.
