It should.. This time there will be no PC version, therefor lets hope they code it for PS2 .. ;)

It looks pretty good. The one thing they really need to improve over the first is character models.

This one looks awesome.  RF1 was one of my favorite FPS on PS2.

Wel the 1st one had 1/2 as many poly\'s and weaker texturing and ran at 30FPS so it would be a heluva achievement for Volition to get RF2 running at 60FPS

but I hope so too, and I hope the GeoMod engine really get utilized this time

Volition knew the first one had a horrible framerate, and if you havent noticed the graphics are HUGELY improved (particularly the rain effects) i would be extremely disappointed if they improved the graphics so much and didnt improve the framerate markedly.  I know it\'ll be a bit of a stretch but you can already see the huge improvement and i believe that the PS2 is capable of running such a game at 60fps.. whether or not Volition make it, is another story.

I really don\'t know what to think seeing how I thought the first red faction was lack luster, but some of you seem to love it. I just don\'t see how, but hey everybody doesn\'t like jam on there toast.

30?  only time it EVER dipped below 60 fps was when i clicked on "menu" than "quit"

What channel? MUST.... SEE...... TIMESPLITTERS....... 2........ STUFF......

Pics look impressive, hope the Geo-Mod stuff has more of a purpose in this one, it was raved about in the last, but not used enough IMO

yeah but RF was locked at that frame rate

on the other hand the Eye punishing HALO droped frame rate when ever something exciting happend. like more than 2 Aliens firing at once ;)
