Well, I couldnt have picked a worse time being away during E3, so I have been wondering, which are the big titles to look forward to on the PS2, XBox, and GCN? What news was given on games already known about, e.g TS2, The Getaway??

Problem for PS2 owners...all the best games were on Gamecube :).  Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Star Fox...could keep me happy for a long time.

You meant Zelda or Cell-da? It\'s a big difference IMO.

I think this thread would succeed better in CD since there are so many games coming to so many consoles that are more then worth discussing.

I say its about time they let go of old franchises, cuz they\'re getting old.

Sorry Rick, I hadn\'t seen your post till now. Try with IGN, it\'s plenty of trailers and direct footage from E3. Don\'t miss Ratchet and Clanck movies!

I enjoy them, and they sure do sell well.  Why would they ever give them up?

No, but I believe these games do.  Comparing games to movies doesn\'t really work.

More sequels...I guess you have became acustomed to them since you have a GC.

PS2 will be getting plenty of original games

While I do like PS2, I think it\'s getting plenty of rehashes (oops, I mean sequels). DMC2, Tekken 4, VF4, FF10, 11, 12, ..., Ridge Racer 6, GT4, etc. etc. Not that they\'re bad games, but they aren\'t exactly new materiel either. :)

Hey, if it ain\'t broke, don\'t fix it.  The games are fun, so why get rid of them?  Nintendo has a good thing going in those series.
