dont get me wrong im all about cool looking fast cars but some people try too hard with these P.O.S. fourbangers

Ok, this is how it works my friend. Lets start with 3 cars we specialize in at our shop. Dodge Neon and anything with the DOHC 420A motor. Mitsu.Eclipse, and scoobie WRX.

Now we shall start witht he neon. One can find one for as little as $1500. Yes it will be a chitty car for that moeny, but keep in mind we are spending money on it so it doesnt matter.

So thats $1500+ O lets be nice and only spend $10k. You now have a car that will handle on rails(autocross), stock is damn good by the way. One that can hold its own on the roadcourse. Also it is a 1/4 mile beats putting down in the area of 350-450HP depending on what routes taken during the build up. so that is only $11.5 to absolutly RAPE cars 3 times its cost. Dont even get me started on my buddy who has spent about 20k and eats moddified vipers for lunch!!! I even have video proof :D

Next..Eclipse, these are more pricey, but same theory. Hell for 3 free and 2 other cheap mods, you can drop a good 1 and a half seconds off the 1/4 time. Also relatively cheap.

See where Im going with this? No matter how much one spends ont hese cars, it will ALWAYS be faster than buying a new car of equal value.

Oh yeah what does everyone here drive?
Me, I drive a Shelby CSX, running 13\'s right now, but still have alot of work ahead, especially when I get my Cummins Diesel Intercooler installed, and my AFPR next week.  Also need better rubber, I\'m spinning far to much into second if I don\'t  really watch it.

(If anyone says they have NOS I will beat you with a large stick, you can say Nitrous, N20, whatever you like, just not Naaws)

sweet..csx\'s are sweet!!! I dont care for the styling that much..not horrible tho. But the bang for the buck is enormous, not to mention the cars great potential.

BTW, I have a product you would most certainly like. Solid shifter bushings to improve your shifts(duh :) )
$40 plus shipping. these take soo much slop out of the shifting with those chitty rubber ones.

I like the eclipse with the suicide doors (the first pic) but I wouldve gone with a different color, like pearl black.

I like the silver Silvia on top from the first post..  Well actually I don\'t like it all that much, but personally, I think its the most decent out of the rest.

And Samwise, that white care with the hood open. It\'s also a Silvia.  S15 to be exact.

And CRXs can be fast, but the engine bay is not exactly that giving.  The car is lighter than the 92-95 civic hatchbacks, yet trying to fit a B18C in the CRX, you\'d have to hammer in a part of the engine bay to make the alternator fit.  and if you ever wanted to fit an H22?  I\'d say forget it.  Therefor I stick with my EG civics.

wrong, wrong and WRONG....what appears to be isnt always the truth now is it? ALmost all of these cars are pure hybrids..total customization. The white one samwise is referring to I believe is an eclipse originally. There are NO silvias anywhere in this post. Finally, a H22a can fit into a c-rez..yes..Ive participated in the swap. Sure the car didnt have a/c or p/s but it didnt need it either. You dont have to "hammer" as you stated to fit Bseries motors in those cars.

Doesnt the B-series alternator hit the side of the engine bay?  Oh well.

And H22A in a CRX?  That\'s a hella lot of work put into doing that.  And how do the axles seat when everything is put together?  A major problem with many of the EG civic H22A combination is the fact that most people don\'t have the axles seated properly so a lot of the power is lost.  Welp, if you\'ve done it before, then you proved me wrong.  But still H22A in a crx?  I\'d still say forget it.  Too much trouble and hassle puttin in your average joe motor into that car.  I\'d rather go with a B20 block and a B16A head combination, or just a straight out B18C5.

And the silvia thing..  I\'m impressed.. they did do a good job.  I saw a couple maybe a year/2 years ago, but didnt think that so many were doin it now.  And as for that white car.. now that you mention it.. it definitely does look like an Eclipse. my bad

yeah I don\'t like the styling too much either, look too much like A Honda Accord, but then again I do like a sleeper.  And the uncontrolable sobbing that you can cause in a Mustang owner is almost worth the ugly styling.

And I think I might just have to pick me up one of those Solid Shifter bushings.

Theomem..check out the website in my sig, more info on the bushings there.

Koko, yea..it certainly wasnt easy as pie, but it can be done. Sounds like you really know yer honda stuff b18c5=droll :) Specially in a EG or EK. B20 block is a strong mutha too, you\'d be surprised how many don\'t know about it.
