just saw spiderman movie

yeah i saw a preview of it today......i really enjoyed it....... i liked the way at the beginning, when he trying to swing through ny, he sucks....... there are some minor probs with it.. you have all prob  prob heard about the windows smashed, and then fixing themselves........ the fightiing was cool



mj was ok, but could of got someon better

I hear that from almost every person who reviews this movie but they never suggest any one better, I didnt mind Kirstin in the movie at all, maybe there are better people out there to play that role but either they are undiscovered or carry to high of a payrole, so someone make some better suggestions

well despite the fact that Natalie Portman would have been working on starwars, I belive they were trying to match the characters in the movie to the characters in the comics, I know that not much physical character can be displayed with an animated character in a comic book but  I think Kirstin has the right body, Hair and skintones, along with good acting abilities to play the role she did.

Kirsten Dunst did a great job. If you ask me, any other teen actress woulda been lackluster. \'Cept maybe Sarah Michelle Gellar...but they\'re kinda the same person.

I thought she did great.  I never read any of the comic books so I had no thoughts on who else they could have picked, but she did well from my point of view.  Only problem I had was there really needed to be a sex scene.  Spidey should have gotten it on.

*minor minor minor spoilers*

They had a sex scene (its where the spider-man/MJ kiss is) but it got cut. One of the reasons it got cut was cause he has his mask on during it so tehy felt it would look more...like....a rape rather than love making.

Also...

They had some ideas for him finidng out about his web. Was one of him going to masturbate and end up shooting web by accident. Another was of him waking up and finding his bed covered in a white sticky substance so he thinks it was a wet dream until he realizes its web.

All these were discussed as posibilities for the movie :)
