Hey..whatsup people.
I\'m sure you\'ve all heard of Socom : us navy seals, the game thats supposed to lead the PS2 into the online era.
Well, I just read the articles and stuff, and frankly, i\'m impressed.
The game looks amazing, everything from the graphics, to the depth of their gameplay, to the online and voice-chat capabilities.
Its coming out late august, the same time as the Broadband adapter.
I personally cant wait, what are all your opinions on it?

Do you think that the game companies pay someone to go online and post about their game in every "gamer forum" they can find???  I mean it is FREE advertising.

did everyone know this already???

BB only will not hurt the game.  It plays both online and offline.  If the game allowed 56k there would be no point in online play.  If you have 56k you can barely take having a voice chat through buddyphone or MSN without troubles, netherlone taking a whole game added onto that.  BBA was the only way to do it.

They have to because all the things going on at once in the game.  The game makers have said so themselves.

Hm, I dont think it\'ll hurt the game even though its BB only.
I mean, theres a lot of 56kers out there ( including me, until next month ), but like someone said, The game online would suck if  it were forced to accomadate 56k players and take out some features.
If i pay for the game, i want to enjoy it to the fullest, not have people dissapear halfway thru the game cause they got a phone call.

Btw, RYu, thats a pimp avatar..do you have a larger sized pic you could hook it up with?
