Anyone looking forward to Scooby Doo?
« on: June 14, 2002, 03:18:37 AM »
I certainly am. I was a big fan when I was little, and can\'t wait to see it when it comes out June 20 here in Oz.

From what I have seen, it looks pretty good. I don\'t expect it to be great, but as long as its solid, then I should hopefully enjoy it. The CG Scooby looks awesome too, I love he voice.

Anyone else wanna see it? Anyone seen it yet in the US?

That would be enough for me to go see it.

And I wonder if they\'re going to end the movie with the line "and if it were\'nt for them damn kids...".:D

The movie looks absolutely awful.  The director has them acting exactly like in the cartoon which is kind of cool, but it just doesn\'t work for me.  The dog looks stupid.  I just think this is best left to the cartoon.

I think I\'ll pass... but on the other hand I watched Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra last night when I was at work. It wasn\'t as bad as I had expected. :)

You can always base a movie on how large the promotional tour is as to whether it will suck or not.

They have had people on Letterman like every night this week.  Chris Rock was all over the palce for his movie.

Both movies is suck.
