The mets just tried to hit Clemens, but Estes barely missed Clemens\' theigh and both theams got their warnings. As a Yankee fan even I think Roger shoulda got plunked.
I bet when the neanderthal kids would make a snowman, someone would always end up saying, \"Don\'t forget the thick, heavy brows.\" Then they would all get embarrassed because they remembered they had the big hunky brows too, and they\'d get mad and eat the snowman.

The same way Piazza was...

I\'m a huge Mets fan, and I personally hope that the go after him again.  Maybe if Estes leaves the game before Clemens, or if it\'s like the 7th or something and he\'s ready to go, hit him then.  He deserves it, and he needs to be hit.  I still vividly remember the bat throwing incident, and even more clearly, the time he hit Piazza in the head.  He needs to be hit.

I just hope they get him sometime this game.  Maybe the guy pitching now, or maybe the releaver.  Either way I wanna see Clemens go down.

Yup, thing is that last year, clemens was scheduled to pitch and torre moved the rotation around so he wouldnt have to hit at shea stadium, cuz he would\'ve been plunked last year for sure. But of course the media blows everything out of proportion.

Actually, no.  It was about 20 months ago, which is closer to one and a half years ago.  It was in the 2000 World Series where Clemens threw a bat towards Piazza.  He also hit Piazza in the head pretty good that same season.

Whatever happened to Piazza? He used to be a mchine at throwing guys out, now hes thrown out only 2 outta 50 somethin attempts?? Yea he\'s a hell of a hitter but get him out from behind the plate.

Actually, he never could throw guys out.  He just has been even worse than usual this year, and teams are running on him more.
