Hey Vid..

Just saw my first episode of Hi-Rev Tuners. Dont know which episode it is, but it was the one that showcased the ARP manufacturing plant. I like the show overall, but I hate the asian import model host who is about as bright as a bag of new nickels. The male host isnt far in front of her either. Its a nice combo of what the sportcompact seen is about though. I think I want to see more race stuff to even it out abit. Then again, might have just been this episode. BTW..since Im mentioning this one, how many have I missed so far anyway?

I\'m surprised how many people come down on the male host.  I\'m willing to bet he knows 10 times more than you do about racing.  He is a designer for C&R Racing.  He just doesn\'t come across well on TV.  The dude knows a hell of a lot.  I am amazed walking the floor with him.

The Asian chick, true.  Knows nothing.  She is learning though.  She\'s just a host though so she doesn\'t have to know anything.  The other two are the people who are suppose to carry the weight.

I don\'t have much to do with the show.  I\'ve just shot some segments here and there and I developed the graphics.

That is a tough show because the talent is so virgin.  Hopefully they will get better cause it makes it tough hiring such raw talent.

I didn\'t mean that derogatory to Luckee.  Luckee knows a lot, but Rob knows a hell of a lot.  He just doesn\'t come across well on TV. No offense at all meant sir Luckee.

No offense taken at all. Since he is a developer at C&R(great radiators BTW) Im sure he does know more than me. Like you said though, I guess it was just his TV presence.

If you go to the hirevtuners.com site he is getting hammered by all those losers.  I feel bad for him, but I don\'t moderate the site so I just look at the posts and grin.  The racers hate the show.  Eventually I think they will like it.  As more and more companies get involved with the show we will be able to do a lot more nuts and bolts type of stuff and that will make Rob look more credible.

Plus remember, this show is comming off the heels of the mothers import auto tour ICK.. both hosts were brain dead..and the cars they showcased just plain sucked..even for a show car. So people already have that in the back of their minds anyway.

That mother\'s show was god awful.  Which is amazing to me how much they are slamming our show.  Granted our show isn\'t the best, but that is because our main producers won\'t let us show much unless people pay to be on.  So that leaves the hosts sounding real stupid because they have to speak in such generalities.  They sound stupid.  Very frustrating cause the blonde and the male really know their shizit.

But on the other forum I can\'t say all that cause it looks bad when people think you are just in it for the money.  Apparently they think it\'s free to produce shows.  Two guys costs about 26 grand per episode and Hi Rev costs about 14 grand.  And that is bear bones dirt cheap for how complex the shows are.

I shoot my show in one day.  If we build a motor, we build it in one day.  That takes a lot of prep and a lot of coordination.  You don\'t get that shizit for free.
