One king, one government=oppression and chaos.  One man ruling 6 billion can\'t have time to deal with them all fairly.  There would be revolutions, abuses, chaos.  And that\'s if the ruler were trying to do a good job...

revolution and chaos is what you get with democracy,  communism is the best form of government

One man with all power will always lead to corruption.  Even if there were to be one just king, what would happen when he died?  Nothing good could come from such a system.  If you think differently, that is foolish.

Democracy leads to revolutions and chaos?  Oh, I forgot, about all those revolutions we\'ve had over here :rolleyes:

And what are you basing your ideas on communism from?  True communism has never been practiced.  True communism also strives for a system without a dictator.  Amazing little contradiction in your ideal government structure there.

You realize the amount of civil rights abuses in England when the King had the power, right?  When the elected Parliament took power, things got better and more stable.

Protests are part of democracy.  They aren\'t chaotic most times, and they certainly aren\'t revolutions.  Protesting is a key part of the democratic system.

How is it absurd for the people do decide for themselves who should have power over them?

citizens usually vote with not much intellegence, for example, some people didnt vote for gore because of the clinton scandal, pu-lez clinton doesnt even have anything to do with gores predency hopes

People have the right to vote for the person they think should represent them.  Deciding it any other way is absurd.  The people know best what is good for them.

If you think that is such a problem, why not just provide voter education services.  They could better inform the voters of the issues.

The bottom line is, how can you say anyone should decide who rules a group of people besides the group of people being ruled?  That is what leads to revolutions.  We have peace here because if people don\'t like something, they can always vote for someone who is against it.  If the people have no say, revolutions are inevitable.
