I got all four of mine taken out at the same time, took them 15 minutes, they didn\'t even need to take them out, we just did it as a precautionary thing, so I was drugged up on novacaine, and laughing gas, that should make you feel good, and they\'ll give you codeine so you really won\'t have to go through too much pain, unless you get dry socket, so drink lots of fluids.

I can\'t even describe the headaches and the pain...I had dry sockets for a week!!  drink plenty of fluids and stay away from solid food for a while...

I guess I got lucky, because I was told that my mouth was big enough to let them in without any problems.

Maybe thats not so reassuring...

I am getting all 4 of mine out next week. I am going under general aeinsthetic, so it shouldn\'t be too much of a drama.

The dentist said it gonna take about 30 mins. All of mine are fully through, its just that they arch, so I may as well just get rid of them.

Does it hurt alot?

Basically what happened was:  The doc was like im putting this gas mask on you to help calm yea down...im like ok i was all nervous and crap, then hes like now ur gunna feel a little prick in your right arm...im like yea...then hes like now im giving you the ivy sadation and after that we are.......

Then i woke up in another room with gaus stuck in my mouth....i felt no pain at all.

Meh. I had to have 4 of those molar teeth (or something)...the front molars. The ones you chew with. I know nothing about dentistry. Well yeah, i had to have 4 of them out with just a couple of shots in my mouth. Bah, that hurt. So this can\'t hurt much more, right? Oh well, i have a year to prepare...

I figure it can\'t hurt more than when I broke my front teeth and had to repair those.  Man, you wanna talk about pain...

damn that must just blow.  I\'m lucky so far, in that my wisdoms have space, and are almost all the way in with no damage to the rest of the grill.

I got my wisdom teeth out a few months ago.  I sat down in the chair, he pricked me in the arm with a shot, then asked, "Do you feel a tingly sensation?"  I said, "no", then the next thing I remember is waking up in the same chair about 15 minutes later. :)  It wasn\'t painful at all, and the very next day I was chewing solids again.

Probably the worst part about it is the bloody gauze(sp?) packed into the back of your mouth.  Fortunately my gums stopped bleeding in the first day.
