It was nothing wrong with the water, maybe it was hard to survive in the water because it was very much fishes there, the only way to survive was to seek land. So they did.
There is several animals that is in the middle of transforming, to give you an example I will take the seal, it has somekind of legs but still no legs. It gets more and more adapted to live on the land.
Other examples:

Humans: less hair on the body due to clothes, we have still hair around the important parts of the body. This will eventually dissapear.

The bananafly: well it is a mutating evolving science paradise.

There is a lot of evolution going on all the time. there is very few animals on this planet that is on completion of evolution. 2 that is almost perfect evolution is the crocodile and the shark. They have evoled during over a 100 million years and they havent change much, they are perfect.

Virus/bacteria: the evolv al lthe time, everytime you catch a cold you get a new virus that have evolved since the last time you got a cold.

Here\'s some interesting info:

Claim: Evolutionists cannot point to any transitional fossils--creatures that are half reptile and half bird, for instance.

Answer: Actually, paleontologists know of many detailed examples of fossils intermediate in form between various taxonomic groups. One of the most famous fossils of all time is Archaeopteryx, which combines feathers and skeletal structures peculiar to birds with features of dinosaurs. A flock\'s worth of other feathered fossil species, some more avian and some less, has also been found. A sequence of fossils spans the evolution of modern horses from the tiny Eohippus. Whales had four-legged ancestors that walked on land, and creatures known as Ambulocetus and Rodhocetus helped to make that transition [see "The Mammals That Conquered the Seas," by Kate Wong; Scientific American, May]. Fossil seashells trace the evolution of various mollusks through millions of years. Perhaps 20 or more hominids (not all of them our ancestors) fill the gap between Lucy the australopithecine and modern humans.

But as to why there aren\'t any "fish with legs" or whatever, I don\'t know.

Simple, if the fish has legs we dont call it fish, we call it reptile or something else.

What about the turdle, it is  a fish with legs so we call it reptile.

Shockwaves how can you tell me to read the thread over? I answered basically all of your questions.

Actually Clowd, you haven\'t.  Which brings me to repeating something for I belive the 4th time:

Please would you explain what you said about Jews not being God\'s people?  As someone of Jewish decent, I took a lot of offense to that, and would like an explaination.

why does views of the bible differ between readers? because the bible was written to where only people with true divine wisdom can understand it. - Clowd

So are you now claiming devine widsom? You got your information from those with the devine wisdom huh? Just WHO are these bringers of wisdom may I ask? Leaders within your churches community? Every church has bringers of "devine wisdom" for their followers.. and since even so much as the singular belief in Christ as the messiah has spawned dozens of different religeions.. how can you be sure you\'ve chosen the right bringer of knowlage? Seems you would need devine knowlage yourself to understand where the correlations between gods actual message and these "wise men\'s" messages are. Otherwise, you\'re just believing in what sounds best to you. So tell me.. ARE you claiming devine knowlage?

As for the differences between the Dead Sea Scrolls and some of the more popular version of the bible, this link should provide you all the information you need if you even have half the brain to read and understand it.

As for the explanations of the 5 major extinctions throughout Earth\'s history, refer to this link.

I could have found a much more polished page, published by a Wildlife preservation committe or something, however I chose to look for something a bit more "legitimate" and posted a page of notes from a University webside. Note the .edu in the URL.

as for your fossil record, if it proves evolution why isnt there any incomplete skeletons? Im sure there would be more then one skeptical fish - Clowd

There are, and you\'d find them if you\'d actually spend a fraction of time digging into the fossil record as you do these "Anti-Evolution" websites. Another glaring example of this is the link between dinosaurs and modern birds. I\'m sure these "Anti-Evo" websites who are looking for a "half-chicken - half dinosaur" would be thrilled to see the Archaeopteryx. Archae, isn\'t the only feathered dinosaur it seems.. and he has no relation to the recently discovered non-aviary Sinosauropteryx. He, it seems, is related to Velociraptor. Read more below:

saying you cant take the bible literally: if the bible says a huge tree will grow somewhere, like in a certain part of the world, or your off spring will become a mountain its most likley talking about a new government, or your offspring will become a mighty nation, that is what i mean by dont take SOME of the bible literal  - Clowd

You cannot believe in something word for word (as you stated you do with the bible) when it\'s meaning is subjective to the reader. With each different reader, the meanin changes.. so how can it have any truth if the truth changes with the person holding the book. OOOohhh.. I think we may have just hit upon why the religeons are so factioned!!

its more sensible to believe in God then evolution, but some dont because they dont understand God  - Clowd

It\'s more sensible to believe in a faulty work of (either total of partial) fiction than to believe in a theory which has tested and tried solid evidence that supports it? Oooookay. Just because noone knows the answer, dosen\'t mean that it\'s god\'s doing. Gee, well noone knows who really killed Nicole Simpson.. guess now we can point the finger squarely at god. Wonder if he\'s gonna get Johnny Cochran to defend? 5,000 years ago, humans didn\'t know what caused lightning.. was it an act of god? Some people thought so, and created a ficticious being named Zeus. Now we know better, and harness that power for everything from Electron microscopes to desklamps.

Quote
Sonyfan what do you mean by evolution? Yes different types of birds are getting made all the time, just like humans. But they stay a bird. You dont see any half bird, half fish do you? - Clowd

I reitterate, spend a fraction of the time digging in the fossil record as you do these "Anti-Evo" sites and you\'ll find your proof. See also my link above to the artical about the new feathered dinosaur found for a prime example of a "missing link" between dinosaurs and modern birds. I\'d also suggest you watch the Discovery channel\'s specials "Humans: Who are we" and "The Real Eve" to see just how we evolved from apes.

And why would evolution suddenly stop? Wouldnt some animals be in the middle of transforming? - Clowd

Yes, and they still are. You look at an animal and say.. Oh.. that\'s a Zebra. You can\'t see what it\'s evolving to 100 million years into the future. We can see what it\'s evolved FROM 100 million years into the past. Again, search the fossil record.

I would now like to proudly state that in this single post, I have posted 3 times the amount of links that you have in this entire thread.

You won\'t click the links because you know what you say is false, but don\'t want to admit it. You either don\'t have the stamina to back up your claim or the will to educate yourself and debate your point of view. You simply refuse and plug your ears like a child. Did they teach you how to do that in Sunday School?

Clowd vs. Entire PSX2 Central, isn\'t that a little unfair...

anyway, Clowd, your reputation here is not going to be saved by constantly arguing with everyone.  If people can remember, there was a member named jumpman(yeah the guy i fought with, :D for you bobbo) who used to fight with everyone and dig himself deeper into a whole until he got banned.  Lets not be childish and get ourself banned, rather do the mature thing and admit you were wrong.  In any case, it is stupid to argue like this in a forum, or was that your intention when you came here?

That may be in your opinion though.  To someone who has been brought up on it their whole life, it isnt easy to hear those words.  The only people who will not argue the topic are people who have devised a theory which contains both the aspects of creationism and evoultionism.

Now in clowd\'s case, we merely have a problem of thickheadedness/my way is the only way.

IMO we will not get anything through to clowd at this point.

Billy Gun,  you cant prove me wrong.  And according to you I cant prove myself.

How am I digging myself into a hole?  I have stated facts that are noteworthy.
