My cousin got an X-Box pushed on him whilst buying a PS2 this weekend. The seller was very very pushy and has nothing good at all to say about PS2. We got out of there pretty quick but I still find it annoying. Not that I dont appreciate advice but she was so one sided it isn\'t even funny!

Its ok they are doing it over here in the UK too....

What with the PEE PEE POOR European Performance and the Piss Poor Japanese Performance, i wont be suprised if the X box will soon be selling its "stuff" like some Cheap $2 Hooker.

They\'re trying to sell the 49,999 XBOXES that were left from the 50,000 they ordered for launch.  OUCH.

What goes around, comes around...especially dodgy SONY consoles.

Did you ever consider the fact that more PS2 than xbox users  reporting problems with their consoles is due to the fact that there are more PS2s than xboxs out there. Let\'s say 10% of all users of both consoles report problems with their console,(Perhaps a bit high, but just for the sake of argument) what does that give us?

3 million xbox=300,000 faulty consoles
30 million PS2=3,000,000 faulty consoles

Paul never compared it to Xboxs problems (at least not in his post.)

As for the games, the PS2 is currently churning out more junk then PS1 in it\'s heyday.

and we\'ve got one superhero spammer on the loose.  But back to the topic, i\'ve never been pressured to buy the xbox.  Guess cause I don\'t ask any questions and just tell them what game I want.  I guess it matters what store you do your purchasing at (mostly Wal-Mart for me, those people really don\'t give a f**k what they sell).

waiting for someone to point that out :D

Babbages is the only place I\'ve seen pushy salesmen...EB, Gamestop, and Game Fellas are pretty laid back.
