In Big Shell do u play Snake\'s normal story helping Raiden or is it just Snake in Big Shell doing almost the same things as Raiden or things that have nothing to do with the unfolding story of the original MGS2?

Judging by the screenshots I saw, it looks like you replace Raiden as Snake although they probably did that to trick us. I\'d ask questions about it in a few months. Nothing is certain except the fact that there are VR missions and you can play as Snake and Raiden and also heard that you can play as the Ninja. Don\'t worry about it now. Just wait a couple months.

well the rumors going around are that its basically the same game but you will be able to snake rather than raiden in the plant level, and similarly play as raiden in the tanker level.
also as mentioned you\'ll be able to play as the ninja.
but for me the best part about this game for me is being able to use the sword from the begining.

Judging by the bull**** called metalgear VR...(being a quick fix) as I suspect substance to be. You probably play raiden through snakes stages and snake through raidens stages..just doing what the other would have been doing if you get my drift.

Course I\'ll need more info b4 I have a REAL opinion formed.

Probably.Just like they did with the MGS2:SOL trailers(Snake fighting the Harrier on the bridge,Snake meeting Ninja on the Tanker etc.)

From whats been released so far this is what comes extra:

200 VR Missions
100 Alternative Missions (small VR-like missions that take place on the Tanker or the Big Shell)
Skating Snake
5 Snake Tales ( story based missions featuring Solid Snake on the Big Shell and Tanker)

I noticed in one of the screenshot that Snake was leading... ah... Otacon´s sister.. through the place where the mines are on Shell 1. Raiden never went there with her so I´m guessing we´ll get to play Snake´s side of the game.
