OMFG, did anyone see rick flair and Brock Lesnar on monday???

That man can take a beating, Lesnar lifted him up into the sky and pounded his ass straight down to the mat... and flair lived.  Any ordinary man would be broken in half.

But I do understand the difference between a wrestling ring and asphalt roads.

Wasn\'t Shawn Michaels case different? There was some kind of trap door in the ring that was made of a hard substance but he was slammed right on it. I don\'t remember, though.

TOBG, come on man, wrestling is not real. Of course he didn\'t get hurt. Wrestling is pure entertainment.

Anyone saw Smackdown? **Spoiler For Some**

Kurt Angle carried Undertaker! He did an Angle Slam on him. He\'s much stronger than I thought. Anyway, I was very sure that Kurt Angle won that match. The Undertaker tapped out before the final count was made. Kurt Angle should be the new "Undisputed Champion."

****ING HELL SOUL REAVER!!!

I KNOW YOU POSTED SPOILER BUT I VIEWED IT IN REPLY MODE SO I READ IT UPWARDS AND SPOILED IT FOR MYSELF!!

****ING HELL BOBS_HARDWARE!!!

But Wrestling is entertainment for so many more reasons than people think.  Its not just two big guys beating eachother.  Its two athletes vicariously taking risks in an environment where everybody gets hurt.  It\'s good guys vs. bad guys with cheesy storylines.  Its probably the funniest thing i watch on TV (not including re-runs of Seinfeld baby!), there are some ****ing hot women, there is a live audience, there is ad lib, bright lights and pyro technics and so much more.

Wrestling is fake?  Perhaps, but so are Pamela Anderson tits..

Now my question is.... would you play with Pamela Andersons tits?

Unless all you watch on TV is Survivor and sports games, then complaining about wrestling being scripted is stupid.  The moves hurt, the chops HURT, injuries happen, mistakes happen.  Deal with it.

You were suppose to look away or read my incredibly bright signature! My bad, it\'s still an interesting match.

for anyone who doesn\'t think wrestling results in pain, i refer you to Shane MacMahon vs Kurt Angle, any of Terry Funks matches, or Cactus Jack.  Also look at the injuries suffered, no other sport has as many injuries per athlete as wrestling.  Also look at the damage that it does to you later in life,  most old wrestlers can barely walk, look at Stu Hart.

As for the punches, they still hit eachother, they just don\'t clinch their fist as hard, so it doesn\'t hurt AS BAD, but your still gett\'n tagged a bit.

Owen Hart wasn\'t killed by wrestling. He was killed in an accident. Owen Harts death has nothing to do with whether wrestling causes pain or not.

And theomen, I\'d bet football causes more pain per athlete than wrestling.

well considering almost every wrestler in the industry has had a pretty bad injury here and there, and many football players go through a career without injury, I would still have to put wrestlers higher up on the list.  However football players would be a very, very close second.

I can agree. But the football players that actaully play get alot of nagging injuries (turf toe, spained ankle, torn hamstring, broken finger) That kind of stuff.

True, I\'d say that they\'re pretty equal, when it comes to day to day stuff, however when it comes to the gimmick matched that wrestlers put on, that\'s where they take the lead, because they destroy their bodies during those things.  And also the fact they work 5 days a week with no offseason.

Yeah, but the thing is with wrestling they train to do the moves right so it takes away some pain. In football there isn\'t a real way to eliminate the pain besides the pads. And that doesn\'t prevent broken bones and stuff.
