Laptop drags ass when gaming

I have a Toshiba Satellite w/ a 1ghz celeron, 256mb of sdram, and a 16mb trident video card.  I have updated the video drivers, and it didn\'t help, then I rolled them back and that didn\'t help either.  I\'ve tried several things but with no help.  It\'s so bad that I can\'t even play NHL2002 at over 15fps.  My old 850mhz desktop was lightyears beyond this thing.

Any help would be appreciated.
