Have you ever met a celebrity?

I work at a very small waterpark in Lincoln, NH called the Whale\'s Tale.  While lifeguarding yesterday, I noticed a huge guy with a couple of kids, nothing out of the ordinary.  A few minutes later, a couple guys came up, very excited, and told me that the huge guy was none other than Mick Foley, Mankind.  I personally don\'t watch the WWF(Or is it WWE?) but it was cool seeing a celebrity anyway.  Later, I walked by him and he said, "Sir, do you have the time?" I told him what time it was, and then I asked for his autograph on my T-Shirt.  Now my lifeguarding shirt has "Mankind, Mick Foley"  written on it.  Have any of you ever met a celebrity up close and personal before?

I met Larry Bird and the Miami Dolphins head coach (forgot his name...whoops  I\'m not a fan anyway).  My friend was golfing and saw larry and mj playing golf together, so he got both their autographs .  A lot of celebrities have homes in Naples.

edit:  Dave Waunstat or something like that.  I dont know how to pronounce or write his name .

I have 2 celebrity relatives!  Craig Biggio (Houston Astros 2nd baseman) and Heidi Kling (Mighty Ducks 1&3)....never met them tho.........

Some Kings and 49ers, but then again it\'s really no biggie in Nor Cal.  There more like distant reletives than celebs.  If they walk in the mall people are usually pretty cool about it, and don\'t attack them (normally).

I was in DC attending a UAW conference/workshop with my dad a few years back. On the third or fourth day of the conference, we had a bunch of bigwigs from capital hill come down and give speaches. I tried to shake President Clinton\'s hand, but there was just no way you could get close enough with all those secret service men in the way. I did get to shake Senetor Kennedy\'s hand tho.

Took about a week to get rid of that burbon smell. = /

Met SCSA in downtown Chicago. Thought it was him but wasnt positive..sure was..mofo took my cab

Met D.Robinson in downtown Chicago as well. I was like in the 8th grade and a few of us were skateboarding. He is walking down the Mag.Mile with some woman..his wife?... and once someone figured out who he was..he got stuck in signing some autographs. I was able to get one...dont know where it is to this day.

MJ and the other bulls I met at the old Chicago Stadium and at The United Center. I had a buddy who had like all access to the team b/c of his father was a friend of Phil Jackson..so i was brought along a few different occasions.

Mashall Faulk..I actually met him in a strip club...lol  Down here in FL 2 months ago. Ran into in one of my favorite establishments He\'s a pretty cool guy. He came in with 4 other guys and sat amoungst the public like he wasnt anything special. That happend to be right to the side of where me and 2 friends were. Gary(my friend) had probably the prettiest girl in the joint over by us. That of course attracted attn. from everyone around us including Faulk. According to him..since we had such great taste..he offered us..that girl..and 10 more to have some drinks with them. He ended up signing a $1 for me

Sapp..I didnt really meet him..I just saw him driving down here in his hummer. we were at a stop light and he had a SWEET total custom hummer.

Ice-Cube..I met him backstage after one of his concerts..I was a radio contest winner..this was back in 92\' He  is also a pretty cool guy.

Payton..I met him at some charity thing a lonnnng time ago..I was quite young so I dont remember much.

I got Penny Hardaway\'s autograph when he first came to Phoenix (when he was a good player)

Troy Aikman at some charity thing. I hate the Cowboys, so it didn\'t mean anything

Charles Barkley. I didn\'t really meet him, i went early to a Suns game a long time ago. Sense i got there early i got to go watch him warm up from the first row. I got an autograph somewhere.

Shawn Marion. Same way as Barkley.
