"U.S. bomb kills scores of Afghans

KABUL, Afghanistan, July 1 —  A source from the Afghan Ministry of Defense told NBC News that a bomb dropped by a U.S. plane killed at least 250 members of an Afghan wedding party in an attack on a village in Uruzgan province southeast of Kabul on Monday. Pentagon officials confirmed that an errant bomb was dropped during a bombing run over a suspected enemy target in southern Afghanistan overnight. U.S. officials also acknowledged there have been reports of civilian casualties but said they have no details yet on the numbers of injured or ..........."

Yeah, I heard that on thursday, the good ol\' fourth of July, he\'s going to bomb Las Vegas or something like that.  I also heard that he\'s alive and very well.

The main thing to consider in these threats is that people like Bin Laden thrive completely on fear.  By inducing fear,you bring out weakness and paranoia in a country.

Apparently it was a wedding that was nearby an enemy installation.  They fired some weapons in the air that apparently people do at weddings now days.  

Since the plane was responding to claims that anti aircraft weapons were being launched in the area, they reacted.

No clue if I really believe it or not yet, but it still blows.  Why they would be firing weapons into the air knowing that we have planes around is pretty stupid though.

Yea..but their is a big difference between firing weapons and anti-aircraft weaponry. I find that to be rather a cop out to help them save face.

Anywho..just something they do I guess..like when jewish men step on a glass..or throwing rice..etc..etc

I still wanna know why poeple fire guns on new years eve.
