Suikoden and Suikoden II are the best RPGs to grace Sony\'s aging system.  Even FFVII cannot compare, in my opinion.

And yeah, games like MGS, Castlevania: SotN, Tenchu, Medal of Honor, and FF: Tactics are all really good as well.

Bah, 182Ways your opinion is teh worst! Suikoden1&2 before ff7? BAH! Who wants a game where the co main character dies if you dont have enough characters. COME ON! j/k :)   If I were a mod though........it wouldnt be that way :)

Add: Arc the Lad Collection also. It will ring you up at least $80 US dollars though, as it is a box set of all three games put together by Working Designs (of Lunar: Silver Star Story complete and Silpheed: The Lost Planet fame).
 The box set of those RPG\'s will keep you busy for along, long time .

Edit: Add:

Strider 2. If you can find a copy of this (and it may be difficult) you will hold one of the greater PSone games. As a bonus, you will get a free game, the original Strider emulated perfectly! A must have.

Rival Schools . Someone already mentioned this, and I can\'t believe I forgot it. A great fighting game. Severely under-rated.

The best psx games IMo would probably be Medal of honor 1 and 2,  

 Fear effect one and 2(Retro heix)

Crash bandicoot series,

Xenogears

Syphon filter 1 (i didnt like the sequals that much)

This game called Incredible crisis. It was a very fun game.
