fps_max 100
100 is the maximum the Half-Life engine can support.
The problem was not half life, the problem is windows XP and the geforce 4 cards. You see, for some odd reason, the GF drivers default to 60hz as your refresh rate. Even though this can be turned off and CS will run at 100FPS like I wanted it to, the game itself still runs at 60hz. It\'s just a minor flaw, but a little tinkering works out that bug. I\'m sure nVidia will change it in a future update. In any case, the difference between solid 60 and solid 100 is negligible at best. At least I can\'t tell the difference. I just know it\'s as smooth as a baby\'s butt.

Ryu: How much did you pay?
About 2400. Keep in mind, the monitor is about 600-700 on its own. (17" flat panel)
Just wait...in a few months my brand new top of the line Alienware rig will put you all to shame!!!!!!!
I considered them. I like the company. I\'ve seen their stuff running. I just don\'t think they are worth it price wise. A custom built system, or a system much like that of my own would still be much cheaper then what they offer. I just configured a hive mind and the only thing that it beats me on is tower size, which is full instead of mid, and the monitor size which is 18" instead of 17" and the price was 3717.00 before tax and shipping. If you consider 200 bucks for an extra 1" of monitor and maybe 15 more for the full tower, the price still comes out to about 3500.00. That\'s a rip off. Sorry to say, but I\'m not going to spend 1000 more for the alienware logo.
He has paid more attention to that chunk of metal and bolts and chips than he has me.
You always get all the attention you deserve, but besides, isn\'t it your job to distract me from time to time?
