Ah man, he already is. That performance last Thursday against the Braves was awesome...just didn\'t get any run support, and the team ended up falling apart in the end, thus, Prior gets slapped with a loss.

If he can keep down his pitch count, and get some run support, he\'ll reach 10 or 15 wins by the end of the year. And if the Cubs could just get it together, damn. Today\'s game was great, 16 innings, beat the Marlins 5 to 4. Cubbies forever :)

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

If the cubs get their offense together enough to give the guy some run support, he\'s gonna be something great.

Whatever happened to the Mets anyway? They\'re sucking right now.

Prior - kicks all ass on a certain game. So I\'m not doubting that he will be even better than he is now.

however he plays for the Cubs, so more than likely, during a game a metor will fall from the sky and kill him.

And with the Cubs luck, that meteor will fall during Game 7 of the 2003 World Series, while he\'s throwing a Perfect Game against the Red Sox, 1 out away.

Meh. See Yuz.

Their hitting never got going.  They acquire Roberto Alomar, Roger Cedeno, Mo Vaughn, and Jeromy Burnitz to help their struggling offense, they all get here, and everyone has the worst year of their careers.  Just figures, huh?  Also, the defense has fallen apart.  Alomar and Ordonez can\'t even be called reliable anymore.

Well, at least the pitching\'s been there.  Pedro Astacio is the one move they made this off season that is actually looking good.  Now it looks like they might even unload Alomar for prospects at the deadline.

The Mets, in all honesty, are not in good shape.  They have to win, and win soon.  They aren\'t the youngest team around, and they only really have a couple years to win with their current team.  The other bad thing though is that their farm system is completely depleated.  They traded guys away for players like Alomar.  Other guys just never worked out.  Hell, they even had a promising pitching prospect who was killed in a car accident not that far back.  The future just isn\'t looking that bright for the Mets.
