Malaysian authorities forbad the distribution of a concert video of Kylie Minogue. The country, which has a very strict policy against sex and violent media, banned "Live in Sydney" by Minogue, as well as 194 other video titles.    
 
Shaari Mohd, from the Film Censorship Board, said this was an application of guidelines against "bad morals". The board cuts kisses and cursing in films and totally bans those which content is considered indecent.  
 
Censorship is strict in Malaysia, but the same banned videos are pirated and can be bought on Malaysian streets without a problem.

but back to the topic at hand. Malaysia being strict about censorship is nothing new, but thay go way overboard in censoring stuff ,like one time a friend of mine got some movie from their (video taped from a local tv station) the movie had been censored so much it didnt make any sense, but that was like 2-3 years ago i\'m surprised that they r still  doing it now.
