The Lost Real World Season
« on: July 22, 2002, 05:14:03 AM »
Does anyone know about this?  I have looked on the newsgroups and found several instances about it.  I know they are making a farce coming out in August about the Real World, but I am wondering if this is true.

Aparently back before the Miami Real World, So we are talking several years ago, they did a series in Vancouver.

Apparently one of the people died in an incident in the pool.  The family went nuts and MTV pulled the series.

Has anyone ever heard of this?  I really think this would be dificult to cover up so I think it\'s bogus, but you never know.

Quote
ok you got it all wrong. i don\'t know a lot, i was trying to find out too. and found out it\'s some season in vancouver where they had some kind of problems and it didn\'t air. i think they made a movie from it. and it looks like the cast members from that vancouver season were put in other seasons. aneesa from chicago is in it. so is mike from back to new york. and some other cast members from seattle and new orleans. i found some more stuff, i gotta get the site then i\'ll post it.
hope that helps

Thed didn\'t ever come back with a link...I\'ll keep looking.

Ah, so I\'m not insane.  Aparently someone died.  MTV is hugely hush hush about the whole thing.

I went into the message boards, and more than a few people have seen/heard of the same news.  Nobody seems to have specifics though...

MTV is very good at keeping it under wraps.

Very interesting. Now MTV is going to be under a lot of pressure. Although they probably won\'t air it.

Dude, this is very old.  Miami was several years ago, Season 5.  I actually remember there being quite a delay between London and Miami.

This is nothing new to MTV.  They are doing a great job and keeping this hidden.

They have been advertising it..looks like its going to be released on vhs/dvd with the rest of them. Least that\'s what I got out of the commercials I have been seeing.

It is just a movie. The cast members are all actors. Pretty much a spoof of the "real" Real world

They aren\'t advertising this in any shape or form.  They are denying it to have ever existed.  That\'s why I am wondering if it is true or not.

What I saw on TV was "Vancouver" with "lost episode" in bold over the word vancouver when they were going down the season list.
