i prefer windows. if linux had better support. I\'d use that instead. but till then.. windows is my os "sigh"

I use Windows because I have to(not literally, but because of the programs I use) not because I want to.  If developers were 100% Linux too, I\'d damn sure be using that.

Windows likes to be on the primary partition of any drive.  Usually if you install it there, there are no problems.

I hate using multiple OS.. I had 98SE and 2000 on my machine at one time.. I was using 2000 for the internet and  for normal use of programs. I was using 98 for gaming. Once i got Xp i didn\'t find any need for it. Infact i\'ve installed BOTH OS on the same partition and had no errors. :)

Cool. I want to put XP on my computer but keep on 98SE for what my mom uses it for. What if I were to put a second harddrive? Could I put XP on the new one or does that not work?
