try using partition magic, it\'s great for those who are new to partitioning,  very user friendly.

I\'m not saying that I\'m going to do it, I was pondering doing it. My mom was wondering a while back if it was possible. I knew it was but I was wondering how to do it. Thanks guys. I want to update to XP and my mom wanted to keep things on 98. If I were to upgrade to XP, would all the files still be there or no?

Well, I can\'t say everything works w/ XP that I have, and WinME is a tad faster for me than XP.

mm makes it sound like he has never used ME before, concidering the fact he was raging bout how XP stunk and what not :D Now look at him, on XP and bashing ME.

heh, don\'t I make things a little interesting??

I\'ve never really seen the need to run 2 versions of Windows on 1 machine.  If you\'re running 2k or XP all your software should be supported.  Emphasis on should.

It makes sence to have Win98 and Win2k on the same machine if you\'re into old games since Win2k\'s Dos Emulation sucks ass. But it\'s a pain switching back and forth everytime you wanna switch between a Dos based and a Windows based game.

....

I never tried it.. but I wonder if you could have both Dos 6.22 and Win2k runnin on the same machine?

what\'s linux\'s flagship OS at the moment?

AHAHAHAHHAHAa

ahhhh, I wish Linux had a single flagship OS.
there\'d be a helluva lot less trouble then.
there\'s like 1982736 major builds!!!!!!!!

just pick any one of those.....

well I guess having so many OS\'s is a problem for developers.

Just get Mandrake... that\'s the one I\'ve been using, and it was great (AND userfriendly - it found all my hardware just like Win). Cost me like 10 bucks (and legally of course :)).
