if the moon was destroyed it would change our axis. in fact the poles would change. Seasons would be very different. The moon has effects with our gravity.

Eh, if it did hit I\'d be damn near 40 years old and probably still workin\' some mundane job and goin\' home to the same \'not-as-pretty-as-when-I-Married-her wife\', while little rugrats run around my house tearing up stuff I work long hours for and at the same time asking me , "daddy, can I have some money?".
Basically, come 2018 I\'ll probably be wishing for this thing to hit right where I live and kill me.
