Microsoft could hardly controll their excitment when they made a deal with 3do to make games for the xbox!
"Our quest to bring unparalleled gaming experiences to the player means partnering with top development talent," said Ed Fries, vice president of Xbox Games Publishing at Microsoft. "We\'re happy to be working with the creative folks at 3DO."

"Microsoft has proven their commitment to making Xbox an outstanding gaming system," said Trip Hawkins, chairman and CEO of The 3DO Company. "We\'re looking forward to bringing some of our most popular brands, as well as new original titles, to this powerful system."

How many ports that are planned are unknown. But the term "army port" may become more well known soon enough.

Perhaps Eddie Fries should look at 3DO\'s track record before calling them "top development talent".

Maybe he was looking at the wrong game list..

Not only are they top developers, they are creative too!
man, I should have noticed this while they made games on the ps2..

They are top developers, ON THE XBOX
compared to the standards of games (excluding sega) they are great developers!

Ah.. The Xbox has been blessed with games from 3DO.
This is such a HUGE, enormus blow for Sony. Will they ever recover? :(

The sad thing is, I believe that Nintendo\'s reps also praised 3DO when they signed on for GCN development.

Since 3DO\'s Army Men games sell.. I guess sales are everything to the big boys, huh? Sheesh.

I hope nintendo did not call them the top of anything :(

They are the top of only one thing, Heroes of Might and Magic
and even the most recent one was not the "top"
