*New EGM*

These games already have sequels in production...
  • Onimusha 3(Full 3D backgrounds this time)
  • Medal of Honor 3(this time set in the Pacific Theater)
  • Skies of Arcadia 2--for PS2
  • and Game Arts beginning a third Lunar game...

And we already knew about the next Metal Gear Solid which will just be a 3D version of the first MGS.

And sorry if this is old news.

Sweet.. I\'ve been waiting for a Pacific Theater operations MOH for along time now. I mean, Nazi\'s are old news.. we\'ve been killing them since Wolf3D first came out. I wanna see the other side of the war now. I wish they\'d also focus on other wars too. Maybe a Vietnam Campaign.. or trench fighting WWI Europe. How about a Middle Eastern campaign in Kosovo or Iraq?

Or how about one set durring the Civil or Revolutionary Wars?? Probably the single biggest, most important wars we\'ve fought in our history.. and noone cares about them? WTF?

Well, given that Onimusha 2 was being worked on before Onimusha 1 was even finished (or released here in the states), no surprise that they would be working on Onimusha 3. Now, full 3d now? Cool. Finally something different.

Medal of Honor 3...news to me. Nice to have a Medal of Honor game in the Pacific this time. Though I admit, I have not played any MOH games in the first place so...

Now, the next MGS. Wasn\'t the first MGS 3d in the first place? If they are talking remake, all they have to do is upgrade the graphics and add more extras. Not switch it from pre-rendered background to 3d.

If you\'re talking about the original Metal Gear (not Solid) from the MSX days being remade in 3d, now we are talking. Not only is it news (few people here, at least me, didn\'t know Konami has a remake of the original in production), but it might be interesting to play this game to see what the story was like before MGS (if this is what the news is about).

Now, if you\'re talking about MGS2: Substance, its just MGS2 with extra levels and VR missions liken to Resident Evil: Director\'s Cut. Not exactly a sequel in production. And...not exactly news either.
Opinions are not important.

I think they mean Metal Gear Solid for the PSX...which like you said was already 3D..if they are talking about Metal Gear it would be cool to see how MGS became.

I wish Konami would go back and redo the original Metal Gear that was on the NES, for new consoles.  With Outer Heaven and Big Boss, it would rock.

Actually, if I remember correctly Onimusha 2 features a small trailer of Onimusha 3 at the end of the game, just like the first one did.

Skies of Arcadia 2 - WooT!

New Lunar game? Thank God.

Remake of MGS  - Figures. I think Kojima officaly ran out of idea\'s. First we have him revisiting MGS2 twice and now this? No comments.
