Despite everything the news was foreseeable, and do not mistake, it is not a question of one énième rumour. Rare multiplateforme, it is a reality; but this one is not very serious. We draw our hat with Matt from IGN for always to have remained on its positions, because it was right to do it.

Once again, I\'m here to burst everyone\'s bubble. Until Nintendo and Rare both come forward and say it, then take it with a grain of salt, espically these fan sites reporting it.

I honestly don\'t see what everyone is so hyped over I mean it\'s only Rare besides they might as well stay on Nintendo and help them keep their stubborn independant first party status going.  I only wish Sony had a few companies on the \'ol ball and chain like the big N does with Rare then maybe PS2 would have had a lot more exclusives.  I have nothing against Rare they\'re a good company but so is Konami, Capcom, Square...etc they should stay with Nintendo we need competition.  If there is none then why will developers try to out due eachother and then originality and creativity in games will go down the toilet

Erm, Krillin.. they will still have to compete against other game makers.. like they do now. Platform dosen\'t really matter.. in fact it increases competetiveness of individual game makers since that\'s all the more product going on one machine for the consumer to choose from.

Btw: I\'m with L-I-C... Until Nintnedo actually comes out and says something, it\'s nothing at ALL to get excited about. Personally, I\'d rather see Rare stay with Nintnedo.

I don\'t understand why we have to go over this rumor a hundred times a month. Every single time we do it, it is another fan site, with yet anothe source and some mention of IGN.

Personally, if Rare did go multi-platform I wouldn\'t expect to hear about it until after Star Fox: Adventure\'s is released, that way hordes of Nintendo fanboys don\'t swear off the game and effect sales. Not that rabid fanboys would ever do such a thing.

Hey Seraphim (Krillin?).  Perhaps you havent looked at the games lately, but Sony\'s in-house developers have been putting out TOP KNOTCH games on the PS2.  And there are heaps more coming out that sound promising.

Examples of great games made by Sony

Twisted Metal: Black
Jak & Daxter
ICO
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec
Mark of Kri
and more..

not to mention the boat loads of games that are sure to be great coming out soon enough (Twisted Metal online and Socom baby!!)

Why settle with PD on the 64, when there is a slight possibility of a more enhanced version to the PS2, or GC?

yeah but isn\'t that just like buying the Xbox version of Soul Calibur over the PS2 version and then go back and cry that PS2 has no good games when everyone is so eager to jump ship at the oportunity of mere better graphics.  Why is everyone always for "enhancing the experience or better graphics can\'t anyone ever be satisfied with what we have now"  Sure the PS2 may get a superior version of Perfect Dark and you\'re all happy but what happens when the xbox and GC version are announced are you gonna complain again cuz they\'re gonna get graphically better version of the same game.  It\'s just like with metal gear substance everyone is looking for the version with the best graphics yet when it was only on ps2 who cared cuz that was the only version but now that there\'s a choice there\'s more agrument and such about which is gonna be better when in fact it\'s the same game. It still seems like an endless cycle to me

Actually Metal Gear Substance will have very similar graphics on both systems :p

But if a Perfect Dark (assuming we are talking about the original here) game was released on PS2.. and had a better framerate, then I sure as hell would care :)
