Tru, I understand that completely. They don\'t have to excersize.. but either do SOMETHING about it or jus STFU.

I think I\'m pretty fat, I posted a thread about me trying to lose some weight wayyy back. It\'s alright though, my girlfriend doesn\'t seem to mind, she seems to like being able to grab on to me.. But I wouldn\'t mind losing 10 pounds, maybe even 20, I\'m just too lazy to do something about it.

I\'m with MM on this. IN some culture\'s it is a sign of being healthy and wealthy. Instead, in America we make a huge deal out of it.

I have no remorse for fat people who COMPLAIN about being fat, and do nothing about it.  If your fat, and are like "yeah I\'m fat, but who cares" I\'m cool with you...well as long as you\'re not like 500 pounds and make me ill looking at you.

But people who are like "i\'m fat, but it\'s a gladular problem.  I had a diet soda with my 4 pizzas but I didn\'t loose a pound, and I did a situp!" piss me off!!!

They also make it seem like if they wanted to, they could just not have a forth helping of lard at dinner, do a sit up, and they\'de be Ronnie Coleman (big time body builder).  I work out like a mad man, I work my ass off for at least 3 hours a day, I diet, I use a shit load of supp\'s that cost me a f*ck\'n arm and a leg, and to have fat people disrespect all the work that I put into that shit, pisses me off to no end.

(Ok, I\'ve calmed down now....I\'m gonna go take my brain medicine)

But see, that\'s one advantage fat people have. Alot of them don\'t have to excersize all that much to have big muscles.. it\'s like carrying 20 to 150lbs of Weights on you EVERYWHERE you go. Imagine how buffed out you\'d get if you strapped 10lb weights to your ankles and wrists and a 20lb Barbell to your chest and back.. then spent a good portion of your life like that. You just can\'t see their muscles undernieth all that blubbler.

The problem comes tho.. that alot of fat people try extreem diets or starvation diets and won\'t excersize.. so all that muscle eventually turns into fat or is consumed by your body long before the fat is. From what I\'ve understood, fat turns into muscle quickly.. and a chunky guy can bulk up hardcore if he puts his mind to it much faster than a skinny guy can. Then again.. you can stop your excersize routine and have that muscle jus loose it\'s tone.. a fat guy\'s muscles turn back into fat after he quits.

Luke\'s at about my ideal weight. I\'m supposed to be 175 to 180 with my height and frame. I\'m at about 195-200 right now. Used to be a time tho when I weighed 305. My secret? I started eating less and eating healthier. It wasn\'t that hard.

I only have a problem with grossly overweight people.  It shows they have no respect for their body.  Then again I\'m 5\'9" 139 so what would I know about being overweight.  Like theomen said, I just don\'t want to hear them complain about being overweight.

actually fat can\'t turn into muscle, and vice versa.  You can\'t change the molecular composition of a lipid.  You can "burn" the fat, and replace it with muscle, but you can\'t turn it into muscle.

Well mock nick, all I\'m sayin is it\'s easier for fat people to bulk up than for skinny people.. but if they stop their routine they\'ll loose it and replace it with fat a helluva lot faster than skinny people.

i wasn\'t really disagreeing with you.  just being a trainer, and a body builder for so long, little misnomers bother me.  It would be like when someone comes in here and talks about graphix being more important than game play.  Not a big deal, just bothersome.

But yeah, it is easier for naturally large person to put on muscle than it is for a naturally skinny person.  I myself would probably be "pudgy" if it weren\'t for my activity, and life style.

I eat very healthy, excersize regularly, but then again I\'ve never been a very big guy. I was a little pudgy a few years ago for some reason. So eat healthy, excersise regulary, and you\'ll be lean. I dont know why people think its so hard.
