I would consider myself a hardcore gamer.  I play all the games that will appeal to me, which are a wide range and master most RPGs.

But i have short hair, i play hockey and basketball regularly, i run everyday to keep in shape, i date woman etc.

It is just one of those stereo-types

well yes and no. i think most peep think of pc gamers like that,,,,,, but most of my mates are switched on to know cos u like com, your not a nerd

Hmm.. I dont think peeps go around talking about game nerds anymore. Not as I have noticed ... too many peeps like games this days... its not like the early 90`s

Gamers come in all shapes and sizes. Your friend is just labeling us with another dumb stereotype, like black people who say "bling bling" or the way you reffered to him as a jock. Those are dumb stereotypes as well :)

Ok, nerdy...maybe.  Long haired?  Ryu wishes I\'d stop cutting my hair.  :p  I take showers to smell all pretty for Ryu (to get him off my case about my hair!).  And Star Trek...I like Star Trek.  =P
