I really hope it\'s worth the wait.  I\'ve never even played Tony Hawk 3 online so this kinda peaks my interest.

I just hope all the new online games will work with my current USB Ethernet Adapter setup, doubt I\'d buy the PS2 adapter yet since it doesn\'t add a hard drive if the new games work with what I already have.

Hmm.. I need to buy a hub so I can get my PS2 and PC online at the same time.

That\'s what I need, isn\'t it?  Not really into all the networking gizmos.

Get yourself a Linksys Router with a couple of ports. They sell a 4-port for about $80-$90 and they sell an 8-port both specifically for shared DSL or Cable connections. You can connect as many devices to the router as there are ports (or you could add hubs/switches and connect up to 254 devices ;) ). Plus the Router will help prevent attacks against you PC.

Ah.. Good to hear. :)

Im hoping they\'re using the US plans. Seems the best and least expensive.

Alright quick question here. If my cable modem is upstairs on my computer and I wanted to use that same modem for my PS2 a hub would be the best solution instead of running wires all over right? Secondly if my brother is playing a game on the internet and I am playing on the PS2 will my game go extremley slow if he\'s on at the same time.

I have a question.  If i have cable connection upstairs on my computer and a cable connection for my tv downstairs...can i just splice the cable connection for my tv into two cables and have one going to the tv and one going to the ps2?

darkchimp - you gonna have toi run wires regardless, UNLESS you get a wireless hub (more expensive)

kimahri - the PS2 network adaptor accepts a RJ45  cable connection, not what you plug into the back of yer TV (coax)

get a D-link router...you might need an ethernet card for your PC if you dont already have one

or:

a Small box that has a CAT5 input on one side and a USB port on the other  and plug it in to your USB port
