I read all this stuff long time ago somewhere...in the newspaper..
Even if it\'s not true, there\'s no advantage of buying audigy other than paying more moola.

Got the SBLIVE5.1 card. Cost me 78 AUD, audigy would have been 300+ so i didn\'t bother with it.. I\'m using a 4.1 speaker setup right now. gonna get a speaker for the center sometime. It\'s only a cheap setup. but it works for now.

yeah, I\'m using a 4.1 setup too. I don\'t need 5.1 coz I don\'t watch DVD on my PC and I\'ve a home theater system for 5.1 DVD movie and the PS2.

anyway, I bought Sblive mainly for it\'s MIDI and soundfonts function coz I\'m a hobbyist musician(of sorts). If it weren\'t for soundfont feature, I might have opt for other cheaper cards who does the job fine for gaming.
