Sorry man, I dunno where to find such a list. You might have better luck asking some of the members who post in the main forum.. which is where this thread is headded. Console Discussion is for sharing your thoughts on the console industry and games.

TimeSplitters 2
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec
Gran Turismo Concept (?)
Armored Core 2
...
I\'m sure there are more, but those are the only few I\'m certain about.

I wondered that too cuz my niece and I used to play Doom on the link cable all the time with our playstations that ruled.  Games like that are awesome in co op mood especially when each person has their own screen.

Hey don\'t you badmouth doom without that game there wouldn\'t even be any Unreal, Doom 3 , Red Faction or even Halo besides it was still fun playing co op any help you can get in that game makes it that much better...truly hardcore if you ask me...one of the best oldschool firs person shooters on psone:p

I thought Wolfenstein was the first FPS...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Oh I\'m not badmouthing Doom. That\'s still one of my alltime favorite games. I\'m jus bashing the PSX version of Doom. As far as I\'m concerned.. no console or handheld version has been able to live up the the masterpiece which was originally released on the PC. Even moreso now that the Legacy patch is out. :boom:

-Ashford: (Edit: My mistake, Wolf 3D was before Catacombs Abyss since ID licencend out their Wolf3D engine to SoftDeck for a number of different games, including CA.)

Still.. I doubt Wolf3D was the very first FPS.. but it\'s close enough. :D

I never said doom was the first I just said it\'s one of the most influential fps games around.
