Romance of the Week

A couple had just finished a romantic dinner to celebrate an anniversary last week at Del Frisco\'s Double Eagle Steak House.

As they walked outside, the husband had something else up his sleeve.

"Honey,\'\' he said, "I know sports cars don\'t fall out of the sky, but ..." and with that a six-story crane began lowering a red 911 Porsche Carrera convertible.

"And just in case she didn\'t like red," said Kim Owens, general manager of Del Frisco\'s, "he had a silver one in the parking lot as well."

Thanks, pal, for taking the bar for anniversaries to the moon.

Um, the dude gave his chick a porsche for their anniversary.  He not only gave it to her, but he went to the trouble of lowering it with a crane.


Why do I have to explain this?  

This happened in Las Vegas last week.

Since when do wives give a damn about Porsches?  Face it, the dude gave the Porsche to himself, and he pretended to give it to her just to get on her good side.  :laughing:

Once I get a woman she better be happy with a kiss on the cheek for her annivesary.  I won\'t be buying any porsches any time soon and if I do it will be for myself. ;)
