Will this really help? or hurt their image further?
Aparently they can\'t even give them away.. any product that drops in price more then twice in 6months must not look very promising in the long run.. :rolleyes:

japanese people aren\'t stupid, they\'ll just be reminded again of the disappointment the xbox (at least in Japan) is.

you know what.. I think i\'m going to quit with my xbox japaneese crusade

Frankly, this price drop is the final straw. Nothing at this point will allow the xbox to suceed in japan.. no point in lauging at it, cause at this point its not funny, but just plain sad.

Some months ago I ve read that PS2 was selling 15000 consoles more than XBOX and GameCube combined every week

I wouldnt be surprised if Sony pullls what they did Pre-E3 this year if that does really happen......... It would compensate for the Broad Band Adapter and the Harddrive..........

XBox is doing well in the US. This much is known. GC is also coming into it\'s own here, and may take over XBox sales (on whole) by the end of the year. PS2 is still the juggernaut, like everywhere.

When you say GC sales may overtake Xbox sales, are you referring to US sales only, or world wide sales?

MS is getting a hard time selling software and hardware so they have to think of something.   The Hardware sales only around 2,400 - 3,000 +-   MS should just get out of Japan.   Waste time!
