I\'ve actually been thinking of getting a tattoo. It\'s just thoughts at the moment though.

If I should get one I think it would be some Chinese signs that means something important to me.

My wife has a tiny flower on her ankle. It\'s pretty old though so it kinda looks like a squished bug.

She use to work in a nursing home. Let me tell you people, your tattoos may look nice now, but oh the horror when you get old!!!

They are hillarious. Your skin stretches when you get old and some beautiful artwork turns into crap. You can\'t tell what a damn thing is.

PS: Old people are stinky.

tatoo\'s arent something to get on a whim cause yer friend has one, or you think it would be cool

yer fricken stuck with tham the rest of yer life

even if u get it removed by laser surgery, yer gonna have a red blotch forever in the exact shape of yer tatoo

i got my sun tatoo just about a decade ago, and its faded severely. 95% of the time, i forget its there. like i\'ll go swimming with a friend, and they\'ll say "oh, cool tatoo", and it throws me off cause i forget its even there

tatoo\'s are a novelty at 1st, but then they become addicting for most people

one small tatoo on an ankle, or a shoulder blade can be cool
especially if you get something meaningfull to you. a comic book charater is NOT cool, no matter how much you wish it would. kanji is lame, and youll get tired of people asking you what it stands for.

but i see people that have them sporadically placed all over their body and they look like crap

I can\'t help but get the impression that people who are aboslutely covered with tattoos are dirty and never wash.

I hate piercing but I like tatoos very much. With the time, I want to get any small tribal in my back or arm. I think they\'re pretty cool, although I share mm\'s opinion.

IMO, those are so overrated. There are times when my mom says "words" people have tattooed on themselves or even shirts today\'s teenage girls wear is just a bunch of jibberish and aren\'t Chinese words at all.

I wouldn\'t have anything written in chinese, come to think of it, I wouldn\'t have one done in ANY language I didn\'t know or understand.

What if the tattooist had had a bad day, and as a way of easing his ill feeling, decided to write something offensive in Chinese.

Imagine going to the park and taking your top off to show your new tatt\' to the world with pride, only to have some chinese rent-boy come up to you and tell you that it says something like "Hello, I have a small penis, and I\'m looking for gay sex"

Not really that embarrassing.. I generally carry a sign around on my head stating that exact thing..
