I\'ve decided to post this topic a little early in case I don\'t make it back online until late tomorrow (er... today). So here\'s some information regarding the new Legacy of Emotion, and at the bottom of this post I\'ll describe how you can nominate members for Playable Character (PC) roles in the game.
Story InformationThose of you familiar with my previous attempt already know the story, sans a few changes I made in order to smooth some things out. Newbies may find the plot a little amusing, but trust me, it works.

The game takes place in a kingdom currently ruled by King Bjorn himself. This kingdom is but one of many within the Sony Republic, and for centuries the population has been set at ease, only disrupted by minor invasions from the lands of Microsoft, Sega, and Nintendo throughout the years. Wars would engage and lives would be lost, but such was life on this world. Only now, something would change.
Darkness blooms over the sky as a new invasion readies itself to begin. Masses of mindless drones, known as Fanboys, are born from the ignorance that infects the planet. Now they stand, infused with forged feelings of undying dedication for one of the republics. Armies of Sega, Microsoft, and Nintendo zealots rise to unprecedented heights, and today they all take notice of one single power: Emotion. With greed in their hearts and undead loyalty in their minds, Fanboys march towards the Sony Republic with sole intentions of obtaining this ultimate power. It begins.
Game Information- Up to 10 (?) playable characters, with a maximum party size of 3 characters.
- Custom Battle System - A side-view system with a couple new elements thrown into the mix, including the Emotion gauge, Item Potency, and Unite Attacks.
- Custom Menu System - Nothing entirely new here, except for maybe the Objectives menu which should help players keep track of quests and such.
- Custom War System - Still in the planning stages, this will allow you to control your own army on a battlefield.
- Side Quests / Mini-games - No details on this area just yet.
- Unique Skill Learning - All skills are learned in different ways, forcing the player to experiment in order to acquire higher-level techniques.
More features will be listed later on.
Release DateI\'m not even going to try and set one, because I always end up delaying the game. Don\'t expect it to be finished anytime before next summer, but with enough help, I may not have to push it back much farther than that.
I will be releasing a demo once I can provide one.
Playable Character Nominations[/size][/color]
Alright, here it is. Rather than simply deciding the LoE cast on my own, I\'ve decided to leave it up to the members to choose whom among them will make it into the game as playable characters. There are a few things I\'d like you to keep in mind, however.
- Choose up to - but no more than - ten different members whom you\'d like to be able to control in LoE.
- Please vote based on a member\'s personality over anything else. Remember that these are the people who you will take control of in (and out) of battle. You may find that those members with a dynamic and/or unique personality will make better characters and be more fun to control.
- To keep things interesting, please do not vote for yourself. I\'d like this to be fair, so if you include your own name on your list, I\'ll just ignore that vote.
- Even though I\'m making the game, I haven\'t made myself a playable character. No "free pass" for 182, so if you want to vote for me, go ahead.
- If you aren\'t selected as one of the playable characters, don\'t worry. As long as you\'re an active member here at PSX2Central, you\'ll make it into the game in some way or another (NPC, most likely).
