The war would not end as quickly as you believe, grasshopper. We would of course be selling weapons to both sides so as to support our poor defense contractors in the manner to which they are accustomed. Eventually one side would concede, and then the CIA would incite a coup within the stronger country to keep things balanced. Eventually foreign pressure would require us to roll in as "International Peacekeepers" and expend some more ordinance on unimporant targets. Then we replace our old puppet regimes with new puppet regimes, and force both countries accept futher trade concessions, and maybe throw in some reparations of some sort for fun. It\'s called a win-lose-lose situation. Guess who wins?
