Clear Evidence on why Sega is so stupid.. (or being paid)

I dunno, Sega has plenty of good stuff on PS2.. albeit a lot less than their Xbox content. Less than GCN too.

Shinobi looks good, VF4 rox0rs.. errm.. Rez.. and Crazy Taxi. I guess. Yes, no, yes? Bah, you guys are right!

I already got multiple Sega games on the Xbox and GCN.. Super Monkey Ball, Soccer Slam, GV, JSRF.. 4 already.

I intend to buy Shenmue II, PDO, perhaps VF Quest.. and definitely VF4 or a variation if it gets ported.

Another thing, what the heck is the excuse on why PSO is not on the ps2?
Its on the xbox.. iIts on the gamecube.. its on the DC
but not on the ps2!

PSO is not on the PS2 for two reasons.

Sonic Team dosen\'t develop for the PS2. This has been said noumerous times already. If you enjoy Sonic Team games.. get a NGC.

PSO for the Xbox is, from all accounts, simply a streight port of PSO v.2 from the DC with voice chat added. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want improved graphics, more characters, more lvls, more rares, more options, more anything.. you\'ll have to get Episode 1 & 2 for the NGC.

MS probably just came to a agreement with Sega to port over PSO v.2 for use as a Japaneese XboxLive launch title.. with pending US retail release. It must have been an easy fight too.. as do you really think Sony would fight so hard for an already established and successful online RPG when FFXI (considering Squares ties to Sony) and Everquest (Veriant, Sony owned) are just around the corner??

I\'ve heard rumblings about Overworks doing a PSO2.. an offical sequel which will be more of a MMORPG than an MORPG. Overworks is comprised of the original Phantasy Star series development team and also is slated to work on PS2 games. (They were doing the port of Skies of Arcadia before it got canned I believe)

Why is it so bad that Sega is developing for the Xbox that you have to go and make a whole new thread just dogging them for their decision? Are you upset that you won\'t be getting as many Sega games? Well.. tough shyt. That\'s how life works.. and I can imagine Xbox fans are every bit as upset that they\'re not getting 1/10th as many games as PS2 owners.. not to mention the ones they DO get are usually sloppy ports several months later.

and no, i\'m not upset that i\'m not getting the sega games, for I own a GC and only fanboys would be upset. PDO is a shooter, I won\'t miss it, and I already played shenmue 2..

This also shows why sega failed as a company before, beacuse they have absolutly no buisness sense.. and if they keep this up its likely they won\'t be making games anymore.. but aparently that does not matter to you cause i\'m "childish"

Unless of course MS is just paying them that much money... which is pretty sad. Sony bought GTA3, however that was out in the open, instead MS buys companies behind closed doors, and keeps the info secret and has them say things to make the other console look bad

Why aren\'t you trashing Sega\'s decision to develop original content for the NGC over the PS2? If this were truely about Sega.. you\'d be complaining on both sides? NGC and Xbox\'s worldwide sales are compairable.. how is it any less a stupid decision to make Sonic NGC exclusive.. or Super Monkey Ball, or PSO Ep 1 & 2.
