I dont know about you guys, but I am a fan of George Romero\'s films. Especially Dawn of the Dead. Anyway, it looks like living dead 4 (Dead Reckoning) is finally underway! "I do have a script at Fox for a fourth zombie film [Dead Reckoning], which looks like it\'s going to happen. It\'s going to be the most expensive one. They\'re basically going to let me make my film and cut it back for R-rated release." Romero was quoted as saying. (taken from http://www.georgearomero.com)

Awesome.. first thing that came to my mind was having a part of the film as a parody.. have Jerry Garcia rise from the grave for one last concert, he gets up on stage and busts out a solo of Fire on the Mountain.. then eats David Grismonds brains.

Yea, RE sucked blue balls. It disappointed me, it wasn\'t scary at all.

RE DID SUCK! I bought it thinking, sweet! But it wasn\'t even that great. Half of it was just flashbacks. That big huge thing at the end, looked like claymation. I swear, one of the worst game-to-movie\'s ever.

Yeah... I read the 1st and second drafts of romero\'s scripts. Much better. What the hell was constantin film thinking! RE was cold, and lifeless.

Romero wouldn\'t of helped the RE movie at all, in my opinion. It would of been just another Night of the Living Dead / Dawn of the Dead movie, with RE characters. Not to mention he couldn\'t of done what he wanted without being censored by Capcom.  Just my opinion. Than again, I don\'t think the RE was that bad. Sure, it wasn\'t great and it was more an action movie than anything, but I\'ve seen worse game to movie adaptions.

As for Dead Reckoning , great news. Let\'s just hope it is better than Return of the Living Dead 3 .;) OH, speaking of...Return of the LIving dead finally comes out on DVD next month. No news about the second one though.

I\'ve never seen Dawn of the dead or day of the dead...I guess I should see them before the new one comes out.  So is there any new on the story for Night of the living dead 4 yet?
