Damn.I need a dark RPG with a depth plot and cool vilain on PS2

When will PS2 going to have an RPG with a dark and complex story plot and a cool bad guy as FFVII?Its was one of the best plots I ve ever seen in a game and the coolest vilain EVER.I ve never seen a next gen RPG as good since FFVII.

Sephiroth rules.It would have been cool if there was a game based exclusively on Sephiroth.

Only RPG ive ever played is BG: DA which I got a few days and I bloody love it.

I wouldt really consider that an RPG.....even though it is classified as a semi-rpg.....

But when i played it, it didnt really have many RPG elements.....

I suggest that you play a true RPG, you do not know what you are missing:)

FFX is cool and all but, wtf is that kid smoking? Look at what he wears, looking all fruity and ghey like.

Yea, it\'d be cool if they had a FF game with a main character like Sephiroth.

Eternal Darkness, but thats on GC.  But its sorta an action game too.

FF8 isnt as dark as FF7,FF9 got a bit kiddish,FF10 not deep at all,Vagrant Story is deep and dark but the backround of the bad guy aint that deep and its too short to let the plot develop deeply,Summoner too surficial,BG not that much of an RPG,FF11 not in a million years......

It seems we wont be seeing such an RPG for a long time.Or a bad guy as cool as Sephiroth:(

I\'m lending Diablo 2 of a mate soon with the expansion pack so I\'ll see what thats like. That is a full RPG, right ?

Squaresoft gotta make a game about Spehiroth when he was in Soldier......now that would be a game.

Shadow Hearts Is the darkest RPG on PS2 IMO. It is under-rated. Classic turn-based battle, with a decent story.

You obviously have been so much brainwashed from the FF series that you cant accept anything that is different or new.

The battle system, i found it to be pure genius. It always kept you on your toes and somehow, unlike FFX, it made me to rarely get bored with the battles. Also the graphics were nice, dark atmosphered and shiny. And i admit that a time or too, the game was becoming scary. Also, the main charachter\'s transforming into beasts was great, reminded me of FF7 and it was damn cool as well. Although shorter than FFX, i loved every bit of it. And also, i really digged the music. Very cool battle vibes everytime.

And ofcourse, the game had one of the greatest RPG charachters ever, meaning Keith the vampire. Everything, from his attacks. to his style was a marvel to look at.
