Author Topic: WTF?!! Network adaptor delay!!?! (Read 2043 times)

Yeah, I know this should go in the main forum...but this could directly affect this madden league. I was checking on some games (Mario Sunshine) and I realized the network adaptor was NO LONGER ON THE HOME PAGE of EBgames.com. I was curious, so I searched for it, and it said: Preorder: 9/13/02. What the heck? Someone tell me this is a HORRIBLE mistake?! As I\'ve preordered mine, expecting to have it before I learn to drive, this pisses me off.

That means that the first shipment has already been preordered out. And the second preorder shipment will be shipped on 9/13/02. I\'m guessing.

Yes ... I\'ve reserved one. However, if this is the case, let\'s see how many people now have to drop out of the madden league.

I didnt bother going to the site and pre-ordering it. Im just hoping they will have it in the store when i go there. Anyone think i wont find it there and ill be screwed?

I don\'t think you will have anything to worry about myself. I didn\'t pre order it, I\'m not worried. I live in Destin Florida, I purchase most of my games and accessories fron our local Software ETC. They told me they should have plenty. They did try and get me to preorder it, but I have never preordered anything. They tried to get me to pre order Madden, FFX, and MGS2. I didn\'t, and have never had a problem picking anything up on launch day.

I didn\'t preorder shit. I had no clue how much people wanted the damn thing. Until I go to my local Gamestop and they said they aren\'t even taking anymore reservations, and that SOCOM should be sold out for the first month.

Solution: Went to Ebay, bought a Linksys Adapter for 10 dollars. Yes it was the red/black one that many of you paid 35 dollars on. I\'m just cool like that.

Circuit City is god. There\'s 4 stores with electronics all in the same area (Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Circuit City)...then the mall. Cicuit City is the least visited so i think i\'ll get mine from there. Last Friday when i got madden i called them before i left to make sure they had it in and they had over 70 copies, while target and best buy had none.

Yeah ... people go to Circuit City for cameras ... computers ... printers ... TV\'s and the like. Good deal for you. But YOU\'RE not getting it, your dad MIGHT<--, so yar har har.

I was in Gamestop this afternoon and talked to one of the guys there, from what I got from him is if your shopping for one first thing that morning you shouldn\'t have a problem, plus too, I called Gamestop last week about a week AFTER they stopped reserving the adaptor and the guy told me if I came down that night he\'d reserve me a copy, so my overall feeling of this is they\'ll be plenty to go around...plus too I only have EB, KB, Target, Wal-mart, best buy, gamestop, Funcoland, and circuit city to choose from... and all all five minutes apart from one another... my odd to say the least are good, oh and Toys R Us...

If I don\'t get one, someone upstairs has it in for me in a big way... so If I don\'t get one it also mustl mean I\'m problably going to hell as well.

I pre-ordered mine back in march from Software etc......I just went in today to confirm the date and price.........Wednesday..and 39.95. the circuit city Circular had NOTHING on he BBA..and the Best buy one had thuirsday............along with socom on thursday.
