I am, for a year now.  I have a shitty guitar and amp but for christmas I\'m getting a Gibson.

I can play most System of a Down songs and anything with easy chords.

Weezer is some hard shit btw.

yes i am.

I have a Gibson Epiphone, Humbucker pickups

100 watt crate amp

Boss Distortion pedal

Dunlop Wah pedal

And get this.....the other day my dad was driving down the street near out house and these guys pulled him over and asked him if he wanted to buy some speakers... well we took them to our place and connected them and they sounded killer.  He gave them to us for $1000 regular $4000. They are studio speakers so i can plug my amp into them.

Right now im working on the technical side of my playing.  Im using a metronome and so far im up to 110bpm......but i need to get way faster.

I recently learned the intro solo to Fade to Black and the duet solo in Master of Puppets.  Both songs are by Metallica.

I think Chizzy plays too.  I think he could own all of us tho becuase i seem to remember his saying something about his band recording an album in a studio.

I have a band and I play my own stuff. Not other people\'s music.

Thats nice Animal mother.

He said he had been playing for one year man, when you first begin playing an intrument it is essential to play something that you recognize.  IM sure when you first picked up a guitar you didnt start creating your own riffs.

Yeah. I\'ve been playing guitar for 9 years, bass for 6. My family is very musical, as to why I\'m well trained in the musical arts.

Ah, another recurring thread I\'m obligated to post in.

Guitars:

Fender American Standard Stratocaster circa 1988
Taylor 714ce
Crappy Yamaha classical
Crappy Squire Stratocaster will be good for a building a fire someday

I\'m building a flatop six string acoustic in a jumbo profile.  Imbuia back & sides, with sitka spruce top.
