A perfomer\'s personal life should not become part of his work.  He\'s got problems w/his dad or mom or ex that\'s fine but talking about killing them and how much you hate them in a song is out of line and one day he\'ll probably regret doing it.

Yeah, some of his stuff is actually pretty good. Whenever I burn a CD i usually put a couple of him on it. He\'s pretty cool, enough though I\'m not into the whole rap thing.

If I understand you by saying pop-rap..do you mean popular rap..like mainstream? If so..

That was started a long time ago by biggie and tupac..continuing with jay-z. Now eminem is doing his part.

Pop rap, to me, means rap that sucks. Most do these days, but some are just okay.

I can\'t stand him complaining about his stupid life. It\'s not because he\'s white, it\'s because he just won\'t shut up about his god damn mom.

That\'s just a stereotype.
Have you listened to some of Tupac\'s songs? The songs Letter to My Unborn Child, Dear Momma, and Changes are, IMO, good songs. However, most new "rappers" are just ruining everything.

Then there would be very little write about. All the songs about love? Gone. Personal hate? Gone. Most of the stuff that\'s out is how the performer feels (unless the performers in NSync or something).
